Upon arrival I placed cartridges into my Canon MX870 and immediately began printing. Quality of the print is excellent, and the computer recognizes the cartridges. I would have given this a 5 star rating but for the 5 damaged cartridges that arrived in the mail. The damage was due to rough handling by USPS but the packaging is minimal at best. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me replacements at no charge and I had them within 2 days. EXCELLENT customer service. When I twisted this cap off, a spurt of black ink came out and covered a quarter of my hand and dripped four dime-sized spots of ink on a new pair of shorts. Fortunately I was doing this over a waste paper basket, so the rest of the spilled ink did not fall on the floor. So at least I can replace the shorts, and the stain will wear off my left hand in a week or so.Now I have replaced ink cartridges many times, and I know it is possible to get a little ink on your fingers if you are careless. I have never had one spurt like this though. Like all such generic products, there is no warning or packaging. Just a plastic bag. You get what you pay for - or at least you don't get what you don't pay for.
